JOB SUMMARY
Lalaith Astor Technical Consulting House (LATCH) is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support DISA OSS sustainment across production and lab environments. The OSS maintains a lab network infrastructure used by IEA and IEA customers for testing hardware/software changes prior to production to reduce risk. The expectation is that the OSS lab network remains fully patched and operational to support customer connectivity needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Configure and troubleshoot the OSS lab network so customer traffic routes successfully; occasional racking and cabling may be required.
- Perform controlled shutdowns before planned power outages and bring equipment back online after power is restored.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues end-to-end.
- Install equipment, including configuration, racking, and cabling.
- Support certification & accreditation of the lab by providing STIG/scan information and other artifacts to the ISSM.
- Keep patches and system software (OS & firmware) up to date; conduct firmware/OS upgrades.
- Perform basic connectivity testing and maintain configuration backups.
- Configure network equipment for IPv6 transition, routing updates, new circuits, tunneling, and NAT as needed.
- Provide configuration/troubleshooting/testing support for transitions to IPv6/dual-stack and SNMPv3 in the lab network.
rEQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
- Expertise with routers, firewalls, switches, and load balancers.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
