JOB SUMMARY

Lalaith Astor Technical Consulting House (LATCH) is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support DISA OSS sustainment across production and lab environments. OSS services provide network/computing services to other devices/servers (e.g., AAA, DNS, NTP). The Administrator keeps OSS systems up, running, patched (including IAVAs & DTO support), accredited, configured, STIGed, and troubleshot in both lab and production.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain, run, patch (incl. IAVAs & DTO), accredit, configure, STIG, and troubleshoot: AAA LDAP, AAA SecurID, AAA TACACS, Syslog Server, DNS Bind, SAN/NAS/Brocade Switches, NTP, RDP (Windows Terminal Server).
  • Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and testing support for transitions to IPv6/dual-stack and SNMPv3.
  • Configure OSS Network Services to integrate new customer devices; troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Lab support: controlled power down/up for outages; keep patches/software current; provide STIG/security scan info for C&A; perform HW/SW updates; configure services; break-fix; coordinate with Gov lab manager; test new device integrations.
  • Production support: troubleshoot via tickets; coordinate Tier II/Tier III patching cadence; lab-test all HW/SW/patches before production; create design docs (for complex changes); update system architecture; create deployment/implementation plans with config/STIG/patch/software/hardware steps and reversion instructions; provide C&A artifacts; submit Request for Change forms before release.
rEQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with LDAP, SecurID, TACACS, Syslog Server, DNS Bind, SAN/NAS/Brocade, NTP, and RDP.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
