Job Summary
LATCH is seeking a Senior SharePoint Architect and Administrator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Information Technology Operations Division (Code 104). This position is responsible for the engineering, configuration, administration, and governance of Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint environments. The candidate will ensure delivery of collaborative services that meet DoD security, accessibility, and operational requirements.
Note: this position is contingent upon contract award, requires an active Secret security clearance, and may require occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Administer Microsoft SharePoint Online and on-premises environments in compliance with DoD and NAVSEA standards.
- Design, configure, and deploy collaboration capabilities across Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Implement governance policies for content management, usage reporting, taxonomy, and information lifecycle.
- Automate workflows and document processes using Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, and Power Apps.
- Develop and maintain site collections, site hierarchies, permissions structures, and security configurations.
- Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and capacity management to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support the implementation and documentation of custom SharePoint solutions and integrations.
- Provide customer support and training for end users and site owners.
- Ensure compliance with security standards including Information Rights Management (IRM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and RMF controls.
- Document architectural designs, operational procedures, and system configurations in accordance with DoD documentation standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The selected candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain within 45 days of award).
- Expertise in SharePoint architecture, administration, and configuration within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience managing enterprise collaboration services in compliance with federal and DoD IT security requirements.
- Proficiency in automating business processes using SharePoint tools and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Knowledge of governance models, permission strategies, and metadata management in SharePoint.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
It is desirable that the candidate has the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience supporting Navy enterprise SharePoint deployments.
- Familiarity with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for administrative automation.
- Working knowledge of content migration, data retention policies, and user provisioning.
- Understanding of SharePoint search architecture, metadata navigation, and advanced web part configurations.
Required Experience
- Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in the delivery and engineering management of Microsoft Office 365-based collaboration services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
- Certification: Must hold one of the following IAT Level III baseline certifications:
- CASP+ CE
- CCNP Security
- CISA
- CISSP (or Associate)
- GCED
- GCIH
- CCSP
Salary
Between $130,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on experience and education.
