JOB SUMMARY

LATCH is seeking a Senior AEM Developer to support the research, design, and development of advanced forms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This position involves creating, modernizing, and maintaining dynamic, accessible forms and workflows to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements. The developer will deliver secure, innovative solutions by piloting new technologies, ensuring Section 508 compliance, and integrating with enterprise systems while providing quality assurance and long-term sustainment of mission-critical form assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Design, develop, and maintain forms using Adobe AEM and related COTS platforms.
  • Create and manage workflows, form wizards, mobile applications, and enhanced/dynamic forms incorporating digital signatures and metadata.
  • Implement AEM initiatives, including environment creation, upgrades, and publishing adaptive/responsive forms across multiple browsers.
  • Integrate technical solutions with enterprise systems and third-party interfaces.
  • Create and revise form packages, ensuring proper data validation, tabbing sequences, conditional logic, and compliance with accessibility requirements.
  • Conduct Section 508 accessibility checks and prepare Reader Extended forms for customer use.
  • Research and resolve form functionality issues and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Perform quality assurance testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AEM environments.
  • Provide form design and updates in both AEM Designer and Adobe InDesign.
  • Maintain digitization efforts, ensuring secure, accessible, and responsive form products.
  • Support continuous improvement by piloting and prototyping new technologies against the existing form inventory.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND SKILLS
  • 15 years of experience in AEM development, systems engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or a related technical field (relevant experience may substitute).
  • Proven expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) forms, workflows, and integration.
  • Strong background in Section 508 compliance, including test plans, conformance reports, and accessibility documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex AEM functionality and integration issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Experience designing or maintaining forms in Adobe InDesign in addition to AEM Designer.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong quality assurance and testing experience.
  • Ability to collaborate across dispersed teams and multiple stakeholders.
EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, MIS, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience may substitute.
