Job Summary
The Senior Azure Integration Developer will design and build API-driven, serverless solutions in Azure. This full-stack development role focuses on Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and event-driven integrations across enterprise systems. The developer will work across development and operations teams to build resilient full-stack services using modern technologies in an event-driven architecture. The role requires a strong understanding of integration patterns, serverless engineering, and API design. Strong communication and articulation skills are a must in order to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable, full-stack enterprise applications within Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
- Design and implement event-driven solutions using messaging patterns (e.g., queues, topics, event buses).
- Build and maintain APIs and automation workflows leveraging Microsoft Stack technologies (.NET, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management).
- Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, tracing) for distributed systems.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to support continuous integration and secure delivery.
- Lead technical design reviews and collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to federal standards.
- Integrate automation frameworks to streamline operational processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
The selected candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud Services and cloud architecture design.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft stack technologies (.NET, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management) and full-stack development.
- Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Azure Automation, scripting, or event-driven workflows).
- Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
It is desirable that the candidate has the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and observability best practices.
- Hands-on experience within DevSecOps environments or continuous modernization programs.
- Prior support of federal or defense programs strongly preferred.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on full stack development.
- At least 3 years of experience in Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary Range
$165,000 – $175,000 per year
